The JVA and BridgeAthletic are excited to announce a partnership to bring volleyball-specific strength and skill training programs and athlete performance management to JVA member clubs. JVA Executive Director, Jenny Hahn, stated that "the partnership with BridgeAthletic is another step toward providing the best resources for our member clubs. Bringing elite strength training to youth clubs will help directors, coaches, and athletes improve the overall level of play, help reduce injury, as well as give clubs an extra offering to boost recruiting."

As the Official Performance Training Technology of the JVA, Bridge offers club directors the opportunity to leverage the expertise of elite volleyball strength coaches such as Coach Juan Pablo Reggiardo, long-time strength and conditioning coach for Stanford women's volleyball, as well as the BridgeAthletic Performance Team, made up of professional & collegiate strength coaches across sports. Each program is customized for the team or individual with a progressive training that focuses on building better all-around athletes that are more fully prepared to deal with the physical demands the sport of volleyball places on their bodies. The phased training plans start with bodyweight work and movement fundamentals at the youngest levels and develop all the way through the more advanced high school and collegiate level.

Volleyball-specific training plans for clubs and individuals

After recently leaving Stanford, Reggiardo joined BridgeAthletic to take over the company's volleyball strength and conditioning plans. "I'm very excited to have the opportunity to bring elite training to a broader audience. Throughout my 17 year strength and conditioning career, 12 of those being at the Division 1 collegiate level, I've worked to not only improve performance on the court but also make healthier and more durable athletes, through a volleyball-specific strength training methodology. Now, with BridgeAthletic's revolutionary technology, clubs and athletes everywhere can access this training and take their game to the next level."

To get customized strength training programs for your club or for more details on the program and partnership, visit the BridgeAthletic website or contact them at bridge@bridgeathletic.com. As part of the partnership, every JVA member club receives a 10% discount off the first year's training plan.
